Mimi is a great listener which is so important in her field. Also, her personality makes her unique and well-suited to coaching work. I have met several coaches over the last few years but only a select few have the education and knowledge that Mimi does.

Talking to Mimi could not have come at a better time for me. The main goal I had was to calm down and relax a bit more both with my office and personal life. We focused in on the stress in my life and how a lot of it was “self imposed”. We then explored different ways to solve the problem. Some I liked and implemented, and others we modified first. The bottom line is, though, that we did it together. Also, although I can be quite scattered at times, Mimi was able to keep up with my thoughts and tangents--she pulled me back on course and we eventually hit all the different topics related to my main goal.

With Mimi’s direction, I was able to take a more comical view of what was going on for me at the time. Now when I feel stressed, I often reflect back on my session with Mimi and the particular “homework” I assigned myself. I would recommend Mimi to anyone who needs coaching…in fact, I guess to a certain degree we’ll all need coaching at some point in our lifetime. As far as I am concerned, Mimi is the best! I have worked with a few coaches during my life, but Mimi is unique in that she brings her business and management consulting experience together with her intuition, understanding & caring. Her thoughts and insights are amazing, and on top of that she is very easy to talk to and work with. She always made me feel like I had done well, that I deserved to be heard and would validate my being. She knew what would motivate me and was able to provide just the right amount of encouragement and inspiration that I needed at any given time. I would highly recommend Mimi to everyone I know. Mimi’s intuition and insight have been invaluable to me. The one thing that intrigued me more than anything else following my first session with Mimi was that all the information that I ‘learned’ about myself during the session was already there – it just needed to be brought out. Mimi has a unique way of facilitating a greater balance in my priorities, and was able to help me see what I needed to do to bring about the results I wanted to achieve. Before working with Mimi, I was involved with some nonprofit board assignments that I now realize were counter-productive and counter-intuitive for my interests and energy. As I began to eliminate some of these assignments, my husband realized that he too was not enjoying the board work that he was doing – and he quit too! As a result of us leaving this work behind, the quality of our home life has improved tremendously.

Mimi has a great ability to really understand where I am emotionally and an uncanny ability to mimic and help me roleplay the sometimes difficult personalities of the people with whom I was dealing. She also has a unique and very helpful way of crafting an effective strategy with me. She asked the challenging questions, focused in on what I was telling her about my current situation and how I wanted it to be different, and was nonjudgmental in terms of what I said I wanted. I find that I am now much more aware of what feels right for me. If it doesn’t feel right – I change the situation, renegotiate the terms or just say ‘goodbye.’ And I come to terms with this much, much faster than I ever did before I worked with Mimi.
